Cosco Shipping 2010 net profit up by 158pct YoY

The company posted basic earnings per share of CNY 0.27 in 2010 an increase of 157.49% from the CNY 0.1 recorded in 2009. Revenue earned in the same period rose 12.95%YoY to CNY 4.4 billion.
 
Cosco Shipping reported a 37.29%YoY increase in total assets to CNY 10.06 billion while net asset per share rose 7.08%YoY from CNY 3.23 per share to CNY 3.46 per share. The weighted average return on net assets climbs by 4.77 percentage points from 3.15% in 2009 to 7.92% in 2010.
